This policy brief looks at skill issues in firms. As should be clear, such issues present themselves as a considerable challenge to countries seeking to deepen their industrialisation path. Improving industrialisation prospects requires some persistence in enhancing the supply of necessary skills. However, without a measure of industrialisation, efforts to sustain a skills supply become difficult.
